Hey ma lovelies so today I decided to blog some of my favorite looks this Spring/Summer season. Prints and florals are officially the business! Like every where I go I see prints, prints, floral, florals and more prints and floral! I love it though and its one that will just never go away. Ofcourse we know that the celebrities will splurge on their own apparels but what will we (including me) do without our high street brands. They are Amazing at stealing the run way looks, so we too can strut our stuff! I have included pictures of high street brands with similar looks and how you can style these too. Be inspired, enjoy and comments always welcomed!Blossom xx

Beyonce's tribute to John Lennon

I saw this outfit on B a few days ago and totally fell in love with it. On vacay with Jay she was sported in a black swimsuit.Loved the swim suit, she sure works her body well. No tits and booties hanging all over the place!

She is totally bang on with the latest trends here mixing neon colors and graphic prints. I like the combo here, she has gone for a plain, simple neon color top and this has worked well with the wide leg pants. She has taken inspiration from John Lennon in her glasses choice. Round shaped sunglasses is the one to sport this season. The Fedora hat seems a bit too much personally for me but it makes this look quirky which I works well for.

The capsule wardrobe: A shopping strategy

Hey people, hope we all had a fabulous Easter celebration! I think I spoke up too fast when I said it was officially summer this side of the universe. But so far so good, I am hoping for weeks not a week with plenty of sunshine! Anyways, one question people tend to ask me a lot is what I look out for when I go shopping. Its so  hard sometimes because we all have favorite shops and several apparels that we will love to see hanging down our wardrobes but truth be told its almost impossible to have it all. You will at some point have to find out what your style is?what defines you?what makes you comfortable and most of all what makes you YOU!You don't want to step out reminding people of someone else. In the midst of all of this though I believe that having a 'capsule wardrobe' is a great shopping and styling strategy. Lots of people might see this as a safe option  but truth be told fashion changes but a capsule wardrobe will endure. It will see you through hard times and last for years to come! Clearly there are budget constraints and most of the pieces I will list here are universal pieces available at all prices. Spend as much as your budget allows, plan to buy several pieces on the same day so you can try them on together, stick to a palette of neutrals or if you love colours have a good mix of neutrals and neon that you can effortlessly style and dont forget to enjoy your new found fashionable freedom. You will thank me later!xoxox

The trench - These are versatile classic for wet weather, warm winters and cold spring. Most are cut to flatter any shape

The jeans - Yall know these will never die. Choose a simple, slim-fitting straight legged pair that will always look good

The shirt - Quality shirts works for every ocassion
The ankle boot These go with every and anything, its about comfort too most times
The pumps - Invest in great pairs, these babies add glamour to the simplest outfits
The black jacket - As integral to your wardrobe as underwear, a tailored jacket will always work with every and anything. Opt for slightly longer and casual style

The pencil skirt -This shape never goes out of style. Choose one with a bit of stretch to allow easy flow and movement. Black is always the safe bet but it will not hurt to have a good mix of coloured pencil skirts. The will work for seasons to come.

The black trouser - These if worn with more formal pieces are a basic, dressed down and chic alternative to denim.

The jumper - As long as these are well taken care of, you wear them for years to come. I tend go for a good
mix of neutrals and bright colors. I don't believe winter should be all doom and gloom so mix it up with v neck, button down and round necks. You can always nicely layer them all up

The little black dress - You will always need a sophisticated little black dress in your arsenal. Stay clear from too short or too tight!
